World Peace Day — officially The International Day of Peace — is celebrated annually on September 21st. It is dedicated to world peace, specifically to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. Hopefully, it will become the occasion for a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access, that is to stop a war for a while, in order for sick, hurt, hungry people and especially kids to be treated. The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly to coincide with its opening. Click on the button below to visit the official U.N.
